Duties of the Clerk

•File and process all cases for the Circuit Court

•Civil/domestic relation cases

•Adult/Child Protection orders

•Juvenile cases

•Criminal cases

•Mechanic liens and garnishments

•Select and process jurors

•Collect and disburse filing fees and court costs paid through the court system

•Child Support

I started my Courthouse career in September of 1992 as a Deputy Recorder.
A year later (September 1993), I took a new position as a Deputy Clerk in the court system where I spent the next 25 years ending up as a Senior Court Clerk.  In the fall of 2018, I was elected to the office of Circuit Clerk and Ex-Officio Recorder of Deeds.
