Help Wanted: Building and Grounds Manager’s Assistant

Carroll County is seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Building and Grounds Manager’s Assistant. This role involves maintaining the courthouse building and surrounding grounds, ensuring the facility is kept in top condition. The position includes landscaping duties and fostering effective working relationships with county officials, employees, vendors and the public.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the courthouse building and grounds.
• Perform landscaping tasks to maintain a clean and attractive outdoor space.
• Collaborate with the Building and Grounds Manager to ensure facilities meet safety and aesthetic standards.
• Communicate effectively with county officials, courthouse staff, vendors, and the public.
• Be available for occasional weekend work as needed.

 

Qualifications:
• Experience in building maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable and self-motivated.
